Daventry MRC managed to secure the display of the following layouts for the exhibition:-
Abbey Road - exhibited by: Metro Models. Description: A layout featuring the London Underground and was featured in the BBC Drama “Sherlock” episode “The Empty Hearse”. American “N” Gauge - exhibited by: Chris Baker. Description: An “N” Gauge layout built with an American yard theme. Brixtown - exibited by: DMRC’s “N” Gauge Syndicate. Description: Daventry MRC’s “N” Gauge layout “Brixtown”. Danetre Abbey - exibited by: DMRC’s “Danetre Abbey” Syndicate. Description: The layout depicts a secondary mainline station based in Oxfordshire. Aix en Pains - exhibited by: European Railways Association. Description: This is an HOm display layout and is set in France in the 1960’s. Fryupdale Brewery - exhibited by: Nigel Hawkins. Description: This layout is a 4mm “EM” gauge model of a brewery yard. Eastbridge - exhibited by: Les Pace. Description: An “0” gauge end-to-end model depicting a small terminus based in the West Midlands. Haversham Central - exhibited by: John Dowrick. Description: An “N” Gauge DCC layout modeling a busy fictitious 1960’s city/town. Loughborough Derby Road - exhibited by: Stephen Sims. Description: This is a modern image “N” gauge layout depicting a terminus in a fictitious town.
Magna Park - exhibited by: Lutterworth “N” Gauge Group. Description: This is an “N” gauge model of a 1950’s intermediate station. Midway - exhibited by: Leamington & Warwick MRS. Description: An modern image “N” gauge layout depicting a fictitious location. Fiddlers Creek (Col, Stephens “0” Gauge) - exhibited by: Peter Sidley. Description: This is an “0” Gauge layout, originally part of a 40’ layout called “Little Wombury”. When “Little Wormbury” was eventually dismantled this is a 13’ 6” layout which contains what was the station of the larger layout. On30 Track & Trestle Layout - exhibited by: The Slim Gauge Circle - Track & Trestle Modular Group. Description:  An American based On30 narrow gauge modular layout. Newburn - exibited by: Leslie James. Description: This is a “00” gauge layout depicting a mainline station scene. Stoddern Hundred - exhibited by: Andrew Jones of Luton MRC. Description: An “0” gauge layout set in the rural part of Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border area and set in the 1930’s. Tanybwlch - exhibited by: Nigel Smith of “The 009 Society. Description: A “009” layout based upon the Ffestiniog Railway station of the same name. Webber Heights Tram - exhibited by: Gareth Homersly. Description: An “N” Gauge Trams and Buses layout including a “Tomytec” moving bus system. 5” Gauge Miniature Railway - exibited by: Corby and District Model Rail Society This is a miniature railway that can actually be ridden upon!
